Depends on your body type, where you are likely to gain weight, and where you place the tattoo. Ankle, wrist and shoulder blade is a good place to get tattoos, its the last place you will gain weight unless you gain like 100lbs. Basically, the more fleshy an area is now, the more likely it is you will gain weight in that area, thighs, stomach, behind, breast, lower back, upper arms. And no, your skin wont stretch uniformly as you gain weight, and no it wont shrink back evenly when you lose weight. Look at your parents, whichever one you take after physically, basically, the areas they have gained weight in is probably where you will gain weight too. My mother gains weight on the back of her hips and her stomach, and thats where i gain weight too.

If you are planning to gain weight or to bulk up by weight lifting maybe it would be better to wait on the tattoo. Unless of course you decide to get one in an area that won't be greatly affected by your body changes.

it will stretch out depending where it is placed thats why its illegal to get one if your under 18 cause your not mature yet. best place would be like ankle or lower back. not arms or legs if you think your going to gain weight

Your skin will stretch, and so will the tatoo. Might get a little distorted if it's on a bulge.

normally, unless you are going to be a body builder, the skin will stretch uniformly so the picture may disfigure slightly but it will do it evenly.
