I will definitely fill out a petition. I think that congress shouldn't be able to such things and wind energy is more sufficent than electricity. Thanks so much for telling me about this! I will tell all my friends to fill out a petition too!

This bill is really before the Congress and must be stopped! It is because some wackos found out birds are killed once in a while by the blades of wind machines. They forget to tell you that thousands of other things kill birds in much more massive quantities. Birds generally seem to be able to survive even when millions upon millions are killed each year by man made things. Increasing this number by 68 thousand is nothing in the vast scheme of things. The good that wind energy will do will benifit birds everywhere by reducing one form of their deaths by reducing air pollution. This is a case of one track thinkers with zero imagination who can never see that sometimes benefits far outweigh the detractions.

Wow, that's incredible but did you know that in order for a petition to be legal, it has to be signed, physically, like, with a pen...and the person's address also has to be on it. Online petitons are a waste of time and energy. Don't believe me? Check out snopes.com and search "online petitions". Good luck with that. You'll have more success walking the streets with a clipboard for signatures!!!

I'm with you since we need energy of any kind, even if it wind energy. Maybe we should ban the banning law.

that's just stupid. we have a lot of wind mills nearby and their a good alternative to fossil fuels. why would they want such a law? what good would it do anyway? sometimes i don't get congress.
