There are instruments that finds different frequencies in house that are usually emitted by unknown object..."ghosts or spirits". The spirits are on a different wavelength and with these instruments you can actually hear the words. It may seem strange, but it's coming out as scientific proof. It's a real instrument and they have done real research on it, if you look it up on google you can find out. It's seriously crazy, but cool :)

You've heard of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, right? It is an objective fact that this piece of music exists, and is performed every year all over the world. Let me ask you some simple questions: What is the spatial volume of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony? How much does the Ninth Symphony weigh? What does it smell like? What colour is it? You can try to measure the weight and size of the instruments used to play the symphony, but this is not the symphony. You could try to weigh the sheet music the symphony is written on, but you would be weighing paper, not the symphony. You could try to measure the synaptic response of the neuron's in a person's brain listening to the symphony but you would be measuring their brain voltages, not the symphony. This is because the symphony is a spiritual reality, it is an "idea", and it has no inherent physical properties. If you can accept the objective reality of this piece of music, you have accepted the real existence of the spirit. If you do not accept the existence of the Ninth Symphony you are simply being silly.

I could take the obvious answer and say the many lives that have changed completely after accepting Jesus. But, more scientifically I would say something like electromagnetic waves, Ultraviolet light, High pitched sound, Gravity. We know that all these things exist. But during earlier times we didnt. A spirit force might be something that man has not found a way to detect. It might be a variance or orderly alignment of one of the other forces listed. Keep on waiting for signs and proof and you will be the one missing out. Jesus had priests asking for signs, and he would not show them. It took 10 plagues before the pharoh released moses. A sign isnt going to convince you, so just give it up.

No. the spirit is a belief and just like the existence of a divine entity can, at least right now, neither be proven nor disproven by scientific means. Though personally I doubt that science will ever be able to prove or disprove such things we have been surprised in the past so who knows. Just remember lack of proof does not equal lack of existence.

And that, "My Evil Twin," is the opposite of "sound scientific proof." :)
There hasn't really been any consistant proof for anything like a spirit--either ghosts or the human soul. There've been tests for ghosts and whatnot, sure, but none of them have been repeatable to the extent that they'll get the same results--that and the results are open to interpretation, seeing as the vague nature of "spirit" to begin with.
It all rounds back to this faith business--when something can never be proved or disproved--and then you're outside of science. "Feeling" like you have a soul, or that your grandad's ghost lives in your attic, is not something you can measure, and is completely and utterly relative.
Re: Monodogamous--Find something comparable to humans aside from plants. We find evidence of deceit in higher primates (monkeys and apes) and other higher mammals. It isn't only in man and it looks to be the result of larger brain capacity (better ability to think = more complexity of thought).
Re: Morky--What? Sound waves. You may be trying to imply something different here, but... I don't know what it is. The symphony physically exists and is measurable.
I'm sorry I'm turning your question into a debate, but... *shrug*

Ricky, that which exists supplies that's own evidence. i could be detected, measured, weighed, analyzed. I communicate in verifiable techniques. we don't commonly attempt to show non-existence. case in point, are you able to provide me a valid evidence scientifically that there is not any real fairy in in no way in no way Land named Tinkerbell? Why could you may desire to. If this sort of being existed and yet gave no indication of existence and no evidence of any result on our certainty, why is the question appropriate? In this sort of case the existence and non-existence of this sort of being are same so a techniques as we are worried. that's the case with God. the shortcoming of evidence for everybody's version of gods is same to the evidence we'd discover if no such beings existed. So whether there is or isn't a god or gods is beside the point because there is not any indication that something is replaced one way or the different.

"any sound proof scientifically" is a very very wide
broad defination, this mean
plenty of logical scientists asking for sound proofs
according to their individual requirements,
even on this pre-conditions, the one word answer is YES,
then
"what`s that proof"
(all those who require that sound scientifically evidence, not
just one but up-to the extent they too say YES,)
then be prepare to witness
by 2012, sure
believe you me, i`m the one...
and there will be many more...
...the time is comming for out-right exposure of
spritual power,

Surely you must have known this would be the answer. There is no way to prove or disprove the existence of "spirit." It simply takes faith. However, what I think you don't realize is that it is just as hard to prove it definitely doesn't exist as it is to prove that it definitely does

Come on, are you saying that you do not have a spirit?
That you want proof of what resides inside of you? You know better than that.

Deceit. Can a leaf lie? Will a vine bloom in winter? The chameleon changes his color, but that is predictable too. As sure as Winter follows Autumn, nature is true.
Man is not so virtuous. His body matures naturally, but inside him is deceit, and that is the hallmark of spirit...except for the One Spirit...
