You may be right that everyone knows about Jesus, but not everyone truly KNOWS Jesus. If you were raised in an area of the world where Christianity isn't the religion of the religion, then you do not know as much as you others may know in the other parts of the world. I have met several people along the way that truly do not know about Christianity. You are incorrect in saying that everyone knows about Jesus. Besides, the idea of Christianity is to spread the word of God to all the ends of the world until ALL know Him in a deep and personal relationship. So, despite your request, I do not think Christian will stop preaching anytime soon. It is part of our job to complete the work of Christ upon earth -- that includes spreading His word.

I thank you for drawing our attention to this, because if this work is no longer necessary and you can handle it on your own it would be a great relief to us Christians. You are now able to step up to the plate and take over the food pantries that have been mainly supported by Christians for the benefit of all? Wonderful! I congratulate you. They say that God works in mysterious ways and I have my own doubts about that, but if you can gather the food, finances and helping hands without being similarly organized, it must be true. I would have thought that was downright incomprehensible. I'm sure there are secular groups that provide nonjudgmental after school care for parents who need such help, not that I know of any around here. You might contact local churches to help spread the word of your existence since they have experience in doing so. I'm sure they'd be glad to help you. Lutheran World Relief has an excellent reputation for turning the most donations into actual help for people who need it and taking the least for administration and overhead. If you can do as well, we'd be delighted to see you jump in. But you'll have to make a long term commitment; this isn't a once and done thing. How did you say you gather your weekly donations? Oh I'm sorry--that's one of those money grubbing things churches are involved in, isn't it? But people also bring a can of food every Sunday to put in a box, so if you tell us where your box is located we'll be sure to spread the word. The Mennonite Central Committee is another group actively involved in relief (especially after disasters), hunger abatement and recovery. They have buses--not school buses, but real big ones--to carry volunteers and supplies where they're needed. I'm sure they would be more than glad to coordinate with you, and carry your extra volunteers and contributions or send theirs over to your buses if they aren't full yet.
Face it--it isn't so much about preaching as much as it is about doing, and you aren't doing squat for your fellow man.

OK so what's next?
Mt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Are you ready?

I think that tells us something about modern Christianity...It takes a lots of selling and sometimes plenty of force to shove crap that people KNOW is against God down peoples throats. On top of that they spend the rest of their time attacking every other religion and science and education and anything that doesn't make people follow Satan like good little sheep.
I prefer a peaceful religion that requires scholarship, respects all other mono-theistic religions and is the foundation of modern science and medicine...Islam. No selling required! 325% growth right here in America since 9/11. I guess not everyone watches Fox News in America.

Bobby please let me explain the Wicca tradition. This is not bashing of you at all just a little input. Wiccans and Pagans believe in religouis tolerance of any and all religions. There are some people out there who really press their beliefs on other individuals, so we must deal with it. You have to let it roll off you back. Karma!!

I am not with you personally. I am a Christian, but still. God's word HAS been preached all over the world. But little did you know that there are more people going to hell, that going to heaven. So we still need to preach the gospel every chance we get!!!

Because they like to hear themselves tell everyone else how wrong they are for not being Xian. When was the last time you saw a Pagan on TV preaching about how their religion is the key to salvation and the answer to all the problems in your life?

thats not true.. there are still people SOMEWHERE that dont know a lick about God or Jesus or the whole thing.
and personally? i dont give a damn about whether or not you believe in God or Jesus Christ... its not my problem... Im sorry if this sounds mean.. but if you havn't started believing yet, your not gonna so i have no reason to try to tell you something you dont want to hear... if you dont care about what we Christians have to say then do as I do when i dont care and just dont listen.. its simple enough.. and if some one is shoving it down your throat, im sorry... they just dont get it yet. so i hope they understand it soon and leave you alone.
but we feel it is our duty to spread teh word until every living person has had the chance to hear about Our Lord and what he's done.
and if every living person truely does know.. then our job is finished and we can get back to our secular lives as opposed to our religious lives.

Recently, we met a couple that had never heard anything about the Bible. They had heard Jesus's name, but they didn't know anything about Him. And they were from Chicago, not Timbuktu.
So no, not everyone has heard.

No, I'm not going to stop spreading the word of God. It's very important that we share the good news to others so they won't miss out on all the blessings God has given to us. And I don't want to see my family, friends, and acquaintances go to hell while i'm in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
"In the same way, let your light shine befoe men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
