Try to find her some odds and ends jobs around the neighborhood, like mowing, walking dogs, house cleaning, babysitting. That way she stays busy and can make a little money, and tell her after she makes a certain amount like 50 or 100 you will take her shopping! I would have went for it when I was 12! What 12 year old doesnt want to go shopping?! And also scrapbooking is fun once you get into it, its very adictive! I used to make scrapbooks for my neighbors, they loved it! Just have them give you all the pics they want in it and about $30 bucks for the supplies! Usually if they like it they will give you a little something extra too but your usually proud enough of your work you dont worry about the money...just some ideas, good luck!

Can she walk the neighbors dogs, old enough to babysit?? get her a dog, get her a slip and slide, or give her a sisters day only if she can leave you alone for 6 days and on the seventh day or a certain day of the week do a little slumber party with her as a reward for not bugging you you could like do each others hair nails face and so on then rent a movie and eat popcorn and stuff like that on sisters day.

I started this hobby when I was 12 and am still doing it. Every morning while at the breakfast table I read the obituaries in the newspaper. I then open the phone book and search for the names of the recently departed. As I'm lining out each name with red ink I shout, "Dead!" This keeps the phone book updated and makes it easier to find names of living people when you need to.

well im 12 and i love jobs and hobbies that can earn me a bit of spending money. it makes a kid feel good to earn and have our OWN money. maybe babysit if responsible. walking dogs mowing lawns watering gardens or anything that she likes and is good at. or u could do this:
SINCE SHE LOVES TO ACT y not make a little show. sit down with with her and rite everything down. make a little club. grab all her friends and make a team. some are in charge of earning money for the show, some make advertizements(whoever is good with coputers and good drawers) some come up with costumes and other make the stage. have a group of people come up with a topic and rite skits and thing. maybe a talent show and do magic and sing. when every thing is set hand the flyers aroung town and put it in peoples mailboxes. charge a small amount 4 tickets like a $1 or 2. with ur profit split it between every1. make the show in ur own backyard!!!!good LUCK!! brake a leg!!

Scrapbooking is alot of fun.
Also making terrariums is fun(rocks, dirt, moss, few small plants from the woods, and a ceramic frog or some cute animal;add a little water and put a lid on it and it will live and sit pretty on the coffee table. Another thing is making friendship bracelets.

Get her a skein of yarn, a crochet hook, and a cheap book on crochet (usually $2.50 at Wal-Mart) she will stay busy trying to learn different stitches and who knows if she gets really good she'll probably reward you with a scarf or sweater maybe a blanket at Christmas. And it's a Hobby that will bring her joy for many years to come.

Give her a bunch of pictures or have her gather her pictures. Then tell her to make a scrapbook.
