Do you see the benefits listed here? I don't!!

Subject: Amnesty cost ($2.4 trillion); amendment to strike amnesty

Bush-Kennedy Amnesty Bill Update

1. Calculating the cost of amnesty
2. Vitter Amendment to strike amnesty
3. Action Items

Two important updates and action items:

1. Calculating the Cost of amnesty

Heritage Foundation is projecting that it will cost U.S. taxpayers an estimated $2.4 TRILLION dollars to convert the retirement costs of illegal aliens who get amnesty under this new bill.

But that's just the beginning. Each year, low-skilled illegal
alien households cost our society about $20,000. That's because low-skilled immigrant households consume 3 dollars in government services for every 1 dollar they pay in taxes (2004 -- received $30,160 in govt benefits and paid just $10,573 in taxes).

Add together the annual costs, the retirement costs and the unknown costs of implementing the amnesty program and rest assured the total cost to U.S. taxpayers will be multiple trillions of dollars!

Senators like Teddy Kennedy love to spend our money. In fact, they don't even bother to stop and estimate how much of our taxes they are spending!

2. Sen. Vitter proposes amendment to strip amnesty provisions

Sen. David Vitter has offered an amendment that would strip all of the "Z-Amnesty" provisions from the bill. Last year, he offered a similar bill that was defeated. Although we expect this amendment will also be defeated, it will help us see which senators truly oppose amnesty.

additional info: Pay fines only if it is kept in the reform bill. They are talking of of cutting that out all together. And what little fine they would have to pay could be done so over a period of 8 to 13 years, without having to pay back taxes. If I got fined - it would have to be paid within 30 days or jail. And my taxes every year including back taxes owed, or prison.

And do you think that the rest of the "clauses" really makes a difference to them. Most of the 12 million here still don't speak good English, learn or be influenced by our culture at all (too busy with their own), or even learn American history? They have teachers who just ONLY teach them the answers to the American Citizens Naturalization test. And most do not want to become American citizens.

So... How exactly does that benefit us again?

wickedlooks - Give me the site you refer to. I'll look at it. But I have others from my politicians that I bet would contradict anything yours says. Besides your witchyness comes from your drinking. That's what I think. Some people don't know when they've had enough to drink before they do get mean, and witchy. (Only pointing out if you're going to tell us of your drinking - I'm going to comment on it too)

Nope just pay a fine, which is a LOT larger than they would have had to pay if they just did what they were supposed to do in the first place.

They won't be required to do another thing, except go back home and reapply for citizenship. But the rest of the family will be able to stay here, because only the head of household has to go back.

They will get out of that requirement too because they will claim they don't make enough to pay the fines, and then claim that their head of household cannot go back and leave their family. Because then who will support that family. Then everyone will feel sorry for them and let them get by without paying anything or going back. This is only the beginning.

No. The amnesty bill will further destroy America; economically, culturally, you name it.

"But won't these illegals have to pay fines, learn our lanuage and our history, and be influenced by our culture."

The fines and taxes they would pay is nothing compared to the money they would take. Maybe they have to learn some English but who knows how well those tests will be set up and how hard they will be. No, many of them spit on our culture. They don't care about our country, only our money.

They won't care and they don't see do you remember the old song Blinded by the light?Well they're under a halogen and staring at it dead on.I'm not even posting the web site to the bill anymore. They don't want to read what's in it they would rather believe the lies.So I'll just go back to my old witchy self and get reported continuously and come back again and again as some other witch.Ooohh my head is hurting now.Can you get a hangover while you're drunk?Never had that happen before.

i could say that there is a stable risk that obummer ought to snatch financial corporation bills. do no longer pay any interest to the aptly-named libtards - they're Obama lemmings in basic terms waiting to run off the cliff at his behest. they only won't be able to see previous the fake precise-left dichotomy: patriots fascinated with the rule of thumb of regulation are the persons elevating those questions.

Yeah, it will lower American standards of living to the point it is closer to Mexico's.

That is the whole point of the NAFTA Treaty. Raising Mexican income levels, and lowering American income levels so that they will be more nearly equal. All the illegal alien amnesty programs simply help implement NAFTA.

No, there is no benefeit. The only benefeit there will be is for big corparations to allow "carded" illegal immagrints to work for them legally under the minimum wage. Americans will still be at a loss for jobs. 100% of illegal immagrints are criminals. You do not reward a criminal with a "prize". If someone is stealing a TV, you do not help them. You punish them. Immagrints are a big part of america. Everyone must come legally. Think about how much money our government will be missing out on when they grant amnesty to 20 million illegal immagrints. It costs an immagrint a couple thousand dollars to come to america(5000 I believe). Also newly immagrints to america are tax free for seven years. This is not good for america, and you must tell your senators and congressman that you do not support this!

Lots of cheap labor. Good for business. Plus these immigrants will be the next American citizens. While we pay for it now through them using up social services, their children will assimilate into American culture and pay taxes like the rest of us. So we're pretty much letting them stay even though it's bad for us in the short run since it'll pay off in the long run.

I agree, once the cycle of the first immigrants comes through, their children will be assimilated into American culture....I see it everyday....I am Hispanic and all my family, have assimilated, have graduated from college and have done very well....These people are hard working and will eventually be a benefit to our country....

Amnesty bills.... I consider them "criminalizing innocent conduct and depriving people of fundamental rights bills"
