You need to read, read, read! I cannot stress enough how much your grammar and vocabulary will improve when you do. Read meaningful, non-fiction books if possible, as a lot of fictional books sometimes use slang. I believe this is the easiest and most effective way to improve your english grammar. Study how the author structures his/her sentences and use them in your own writing.

A special tip is to read with a highlighter. Be sure to highlight words that are unfamiliar to you so that you may look them up later. Soon you will find that your writing is a lot better and your reading is also a lot more comprehensive as well.

Listen as much as you can to people speaking English. Many tapes, DVDs, CDs, etc. are made for learning English, but other things, such as books on tape will help too. The more you hear English spoken the easier it will be. The correct grammar will automatically start to sound right to you.

Read, read, read! Study English and grammar either in school or take a class of some kind. Listen to Grammar Girl http://grammar.qdnow.com/. (I love her!) Take a speech class. Take writing classes. Listen to how people talk and take note of it. Just do everything in your power to keep learning grammar. Good luck!

Ask community colleges where you live. A lot of them offer free courses or low-cost courses to help with this. Also, work with a friend who is good in English.
