This is a great food. My dogs have been eating it for almost a year and they are doing wonderfully on it. It is not processed as it is cooked at a temperature and time that retains the nutrients. I also feed my cat this food and he loves it as well. All formulated by a holistic vet and the company has very high standards for manufacture and assuring the nutrients etc in the food. I buy from the link below.
I would and do reccommend this food.

I think a the best diet for a dog is the same healthy food as a human gets. I give my dog regular dog food but every time I eat she eats the same thing I eat (just smaller portions) My vet said my dog was healthy and I should keep up the diet. I also watched an Oprah and she had her dogs vet on there and he said that the dog food that is sold is processed and most of the vitamins are taken out through processing.

If you are going to use kibble, find a good organic brand. There are a few out in smaller pet stores that are grain free and good quality foods. I use Timberwolf Ocean Blue, it's about $38 for the medium/large size bag. Hopefully, you have a good pet store close by. Visit and they will give you samples to try. I often mix in meat with the kibble, since dogs are meat eaters. I usually use lean ground turkey.

Sounds good... but for me natural food is still the best. The problem with kibble is that it is already "processed" meaning the components of the food are already altered and most of the nutrients found in it are "synthetics" and besides, the smell of their poop & pee are really awful, not to mention the dog itself! I make my GSD her own food and since then I never had any trouble with "dog-odor" or anything regarding her health.
