I would remove them from the folder you downloaded them into and place them in in a new folder in your documents folder and name it down loads for PSP or create different ones for each item you download for PSP to use. I made one named DL Brushes where i save them into. Then when you have PSP open you would need to go to File / Import / Custom Brush, On the new box that pops up you would need to locate the folder where you saved the brushes at and select the ones to add, then it will show on the left hand preview panel, then click on it and click to add if there is more than one brush showing you can click to select all in the left window thn click on add all and they will shift into the right hand panel then click on i believe it shows as OK this will import the brushes into PSP for you to be able to use.

What extension is on the brushes? What PSP version are you using? In versions below 8, you need jbr extension. In versions 8 and up, you need PspBrush extensions. If the brushes were created for another editing program, you will need to change to these extensions. In more recent versions of PSP, you need to click on the little box next to the brush presets, click on the folders in the top bar to set and browse to the file location. Hope this helps.

You need to copy them into the 'brushes' folder

Move the rotation slider (located up top with Step-Density etc) to get it straight. Failing that you could always use the deform tool and straighten it that way. Hope you get it sorted =)
