I got married this month in Las Vegas, and thought I would need a destination dress too because of travel. Then, when I was in a bridal dressing room, I overheard a mother of a bride say, "when are you ever going to get to wear a long wedding dress?" This changed my whole outlook on a wedding dress-she was right. I even wore a veil, even though I am 43 years old, and some might think it silly.
The moral is, do what you want to do, and do not listen to others. If you have always wanted to wear a long wedding dress, even if you are marrying in St. Lucia-is it on the beach-wear one!!! Go with your heart, and not what you think others will think of what you do. Have the wedding of your life, not others.
God bless you and your fiance on a wonderful day, and especially, on a wonderful marriage.

There is no way in the world I could get married in St Lucia without wanting to walk on the beach and have the waves crash at my feet. And that can be done in DRESS NUMBER 2. Without a question or a doubt. Order your dress today.

The dress is one of the most gorgeous ever !

I worry that it may be "too much dress" for a wedding that will most likely include lots of time outside or even on the beach ?
I'm sure you will make the best decision for yourself.
Congrats .

The dress looks like it came form heaven I love it!

BUT
If you are getting married on the beach in st lucia, it doesn't look too sand friendly.

An outdoor it is good though, I just do not think it will work in the sand

It's a nice dress, if you like the big and poofy look. Did that for prom, don't want to do that again.
If you like that style, go with it. The dress is pretty, whether someone else likes it or not

Not really, it's too complicated for a beach. Also it doesn't look good on the model so I'm not sure a real person could actually pull it off. Have you looked at the Jessica McClintock collection?

the material looks cheap and shiney, not what i would envisage style wise for a wedding in St Lucia either, sorry

Have you tried it on? Honestly, the thing I've found (and was told by everyone I knew) is you don't know what your really going to like until you try it on. I tried on all the dresses I thought I would like, and ended up with one that I thought I would never like. But I love the way it looks on me!
Once you try it on, you will know it the one!

Dress is beautiful, the only concern I would have would be if the sand got caught in the bubbles at the bottom.
