While they do refer to the Bible, they mostly refer to the "Science and Health" by Mary Baker Eddy. They believe in no medicines, doctors, or any medical care....I was raised Christian Scientist and it is a mess of a religion in my opinion.

You already have some good answers. They've had legal problems for not getting medical help for sick children. Politically conservative, they publish the Christian Science Monitor and sponsor Christian Science reading rooms, open to the public. Bound by the notion that all physical ills are caused by a lack of faith in Christ. Regarded as a cult slavishly adhering to the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy rather than being a legitimate Christian sect.

I know you're not. The teachings of Mary Baker Eddy claim that Christ will heal all ills and that faith is the proper road, not taking drugs. There is more than that and you can read about it online or go to one of the many reading rooms - they are pretty straight forward in their presentation.

I think you mean Christian Science? They believe in healing without doctors. I think they also believe in the power of positive thinking.

Religious Science is the same only with doctors. I was raised in RS.

I believe they are the ones that think you should NOT use medicines and vaccines, but pray instead to heal!
