I am an 18 year old male( turning 19 in 2 months) and I have grown 3/4 of an inch in the past year. However my growth as always kind of been steady, I never really had a huge growth spurt( peak was 2 inches in one year 14-15) At 5'8 3/8 at just 15 my growth pattern told me that I was going to be 5'11, well it never happened( Dad is 5'11 mom 5-4-5'5) Both of my grandpas were 6 feet). when I turned 17 I had grown only to 5 foot 9. I Thought I was done growing( even though I looked like a 14 year old without any hair on my face) Well when I turned 18 during last summer, all of a sudden my voice started cracking, started growing light facial hair, fine chest hairspimples all over the place and grew 3/4 of an inch to my current height of 5'9 3/4. I still have very oily skin and my voice still breaks occasinaly and my facial hair grows very slow. Do you think I am going to be one of those people who doesn't stop growing until 21 or I have stopped already? Has anyone hear experienced this?

Not personally

However, one son was 5 2 when he graduated is now 5 9, one son went from 5 6 to 6 foot in 3 months, and the 3rd son grew steadily til age 25.

You will fill out more in the chest, arms as you get older.

Actually my husband has grown 1 1/2 inch since we have been married during first 5 years 70 to 75

You'll fill out and be a goodlooking man

That is a rather sporadic growth pattern, but it's not really abnormal, as males have been known to grow until 20 or 21. It's not the height issue as much as the developmental issue that concerns me, however, since you seem to be showing late signs of puberty that should have occurred two or three years earlier. However, everyone grows and reaches maturity at a different age, so I don't think you have to worry about things. You are almost 5' 10" which is a very respectable height for a man. Not all of us are destined to be six-footers. And it is certainly not your height that determines what kind of man you will become. Good luck to you, and stop worrying.

Most males continue to grow until they are 20-22. And for sure if you are going through the voice cracking and all that enjoyable stuff! Yeah huh, I think you'll end up at about 5'11 :)

As a guy dont sweat it. Mine stopped cracking at early 14 though, and thats when I start growing a little chin hair. (Im only 15)

Dont drink that much caffeine, stretch out everyday (it helps), and eat Cheerios, haha, they might help.

No way. You aren't done growing yet. You still have a few more years. You're gonna be tall!
