Nonsmoker, doesn't go out (to bars or clubs), long hair, not THAT shy, but not one of those crazy girls that never shuts up. About me needing to defend her . . . I don't like women who fight. The only time I'd endorse a woman fighting is if it was an emergency. Women who could be bouncers are definitely not attractive.
OK, now that we've gotten past your suggestions . . . here are a few other things I'm looking for (in no particular order):
1) She shouldn't be taller than me. If she is, the difference should be no more than an inch or so.
2) She should not be fat. I guess an average kind of figure is best . . . moderate sized breasts and buttocks with a smallish waist.
3) I don't like women more athletic than I am. If she looks like she can probably beat me up without taking me by surprise in a vulnerable position, she's out.
4) I like to cuddle, so she should too.
5) She should have a laid back, easygoing personality. I don't like workaholics or very competitive women. A lot of my female classmates are total overachievers and have no free time to speak of. I also don't like women who have that "victim" mentality . . . like imagining that people are working against them or something. For example, one girl I liked for a short while thought that our math professor was chauvinistic or something. I work for the man, and I've never heard him say anything to support that claim. I've barely heard him talk about anything but math, actually. She was just doing poorly in the class and she was imagining bad things about the guy to justify her own failure to learn the material.
6) She shouldn't be obsessed with politics or religion. I think this speaks for itself. Sure, she should be informed and the kind of person who votes, but definitely not an activist.
7) No drama, please! Some people make a big deal out of everything and that gets on my nerves somewhat. I could probably put up with it if the girl was otherwise OK, but it would be best for her to not have this characteristic. I guess this goes with easygoing though.
8) I almost forgot to mention, she should be absolutely straight. I'm not one of those guys that would date a bisexual.
9) Ex boyfriends lurking in the background are bothersome too. I won't stand for any of that.
10) She shouldn't be lazy or anything. I mean, I'd want her to help out with everything that needs to be done around the house (after we move in together, that is). If she sees that I'm working on something that she could help with, I would expect her to help out.
11) I'm looking for a long-term relationship, so she should be too.
12) Oh yeah, and she should be a very appreciative kind of person. Everyone likes to feel wanted and appreciated, myself included. I should feel safe and secure with her and be able to trust her.
OK, I guess that sums up the criteria to get your foot in the door. Really, I think that's all it would take for a girl to satisfy me. There could be other stuff to add to the list, but I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Good night!

Great personality, long hair would be nice but not a need, brunette would also be nice too with long curly hair, doesn't smoke or drink all the time but just alittle is ok with me. And if they like to laugh or be real doesn't hurt either. (by the way im single here so if this matches whoever reads this, feel free to message me)

My ideal girlfriend is not clingy, non-smoking, possessive, whiny, etc that are negatives. I don't mind her not needing my protection, I give her privacy and so she must allow for that too. Long Hair, blue, green, hazel, grey eyes, sharp nose, stuff like that just does not matter. Importantly, the heart must be of kindness, gentleness, forgiving, loveable, sweet, caring, joyous, enjoys life - occasional alcohol drinker, loves to party, celebrates life even if bad times hit, clubber, pubber, sociable, loves kin and kith.
ULTIMATELY she MUST *LOVE ME*, after a few dates and blah.
hit up an email if you fit above descriptions.

That varies with everyone. Everyone has different tastes. Personally, I think I've dated her for 3 years and pray that she realizes how perfect we are for each other.
