I'm 14 and I'm single and looking. But there's not one guy at my school that seems like my type or mature enough. Where can I meet guys outside of school?(My only real interests are horsebackriding and not alot of guys do that)

sorry, but some of you need to relize its not 1950 anymore, and kids these days DO date when their younger and have bf/gf s. Don't mean to be rude.

I really think that at 14 you're pushing it a bit. At that age, should you really be looking for a guy? You'll be an adult soon enough, and let me tell you, it's not all it's cracked up to be, regardless of what you and your friends may feel at this time. If you look back at this in 5 years time, you'll know what I'm talking about.

If you're fourteen ( I'm 19 F), I'd say don't count on guys to be that much more mature until college. I wouldn't rush it. I'm in college now ( I go to the United States Military Academy) and I would say that while it is 85% male, I still haven't found someone just yet. (Because some are still immature and other's are not bf material)

He'll come in due time..and in the meantime, enjoy your past-times..and please.. don't make the mistake of not having as much fun as possible with all of your friends! Good luck and love wishes!

Perhaps this is terribly old fashioned of me, but: Why, at presumably 14/15, are you so concerned with finding guys? Chat rooms, as fun as they are, are also a great place for pedophiles, molestors, and others that would do you harm. Never give out your location, phone number, schedule, or anything personal. You do not know who you are actually speaking to. Please be careful. Thousands of children go missing each year. Enjoy your youth. Worry about the opposite sex when you are older.

First of all, it's a fact that girls mature ALOT quicker than guys do. Secondly 14 years old, you have your whole live ahead of you. Go on living it and don't screw it up by getting into a messy relationship. Besides by the time you are 21, you will find guys your age are more mature and more to your liking.

Are there any young teenage boys who work in the stables where the horses are kept? There could be a nice one who loves horses and wants to or needs to work, but can't afford
horseback riding lessons or own a horse. Look around, they maybe one there that you could become friends with.

Or, try hanging out at your local library, or walk to a park nearby and watch a Little League Game going on for boys ages 14-16.

If you're 14, you're probably in 8th grade or a Freshman in high school. You really are too young for a boyfriend and most boys your age are interested in sports and games.

Is there a teen club in your area?

Can you sign up for a Summer school class at your local high school?

At 14, you really need to meet boys just so you feel comfortable around them, have fun and maybe a little innocent flirting, but you don't want to meet a very mature boy at your age who may want to take advantage of you.

Any of your girlfriends have nice brothers?

church youth group, community dance. I used to go to this club for junior highers when I was your age. I'd go there with my friends, dance and have a great time! You could also meet them through friends of other friends, school field days, field trip.

Maybe now's not yet your time. I mean there's always next year.

Make friends with a sophomore who has a car. You'll meet lots of older guys that way...
