It depends on who makes them. Banquet and store brands are the worst. Marie Callendars are very good I would give hers a rating of 10

Normally....I'd say the chicken pot pies rate a 6. The turkey ones are better and rate a 7.
Why? Because if I am eating pot-pies I am looking for something cheap and filling, that is fairly easy to make, either in the oven or microwave. And the Turkey ones are slightly better at that in terms of being somewhat thicker/creamier on the inside, and in terms of having bigger chunks of meat in them.
Still, you do realize this is when I am shopping cheap. I really don't spend tons of money on pot-pies. I mean, I could but why? I just don't see them as a premium kind of food, sorry.
I hope this helps....thanks for your time! ^_^

I would rate them a 7.
They do taste good especially home made ones. However they do not get a 10 because there are so many variations.
My homemade ones are very good and healthy for I only use breast of chicken and make a light crust, so it is pretty low in fat. The store brands are usually high in fat, for to cut cost they use a lot of throw away parts of chicken that I would not use, parts of back, lots of fatty parts, and thighs. They also use a heavy calorie crust.

A 2. They don't make me vomit but you have to wonder how good anything can be when you find one pea, and two tiny squares of carrot in one of those. It is mostly a doughy crust and some indescrible yellowish goop pretending to be chicken gravy. If you are really lucky, maybe you will find a little hunk of chicken. A 2, no higher.

About a 3. On the plus side, they are very inexpensive. And when you're really, really hungry, they are great. My really, really hungry days, however, was when I didn't have much money to spend on groceries. Now that I have sufficient means, I would not buy a chicken pot pie because there is so much other food that tastes better and is more nutritious and interesting to eat.

Homemade is an 8. Still, I would only eat it once a year or so because of how I feel after. It sits in my stomach like a rock. The cheapo frozen ones, Banquet I guess, are my food from hell.
