I have eaten sweet feed, milk bones, rotten chocolate milk, squash flowers, oyster mushrooms that grow on decaying trees, puff ball mushrooms that grow in the yard, everything they make at a sushi bar, but the one thing that really freaked me out was trying for about a minute to chew up the face and beak of a squid in a piece of fried calamari thinking it was just a big crunchy piece of fried batter. I lost my appetite when I finally decided to spit it in my plate to get a look at what I was trying to chew.

I've eaten a lot of weird things but the grossest thing I ever ate was at a cooking party this lady brought salsa but all it was was cooked tomatoes and onions (like boiled) with a ton of sugar! I gagged! It didn't look very good but I wanted to be polite-I didn't know about the sugar!

Well, this would SOUND like it was the most horrible thing ever- but I must admit it was good. They called it "Roadkill Stew". It wasn't REALLY roadkill, but it was a racoon slow cooked over sweet potatoes, bell pepper and onion. Gotta love the dirty south :P

Calf brain when attending culinary school. We blanched it, chilled it and then proceded to coat in flour, egg wash and then bread crumbs/ seasoned flour. Pan fried and it wasn't too bad except that it was brain. Pig Trotters I give 4 thumbs down!!!! They weren't as good since we didn't fry them :-(

Octopus from my favorite Greek restaurant in Orlando.

Honestly, it really wasn't that bad. Chewing it was like chewing on a rubber hose though.
