I think you're generally right. It's just that everyone's idea of a "10" is different. Also, some people are more comfortable opening up to someone they think is as attractive as they are.
Sometimes having a perfect body detracts from real love.

Totally untrue. As a guy, 90-99% of my decision on whether or not I will pursue a certain girl will be based on her looks. Sure, lots of other things are important in a relationship, I realize that -- but if the girl isn't at least physically attractive, I'm not going to take the time to investigate her other qualities.
I know this is shallow behavior. But at least I am honest.

It is BS, people just tell you that to make you feel better. But in reality, looks do matter it's just that everyone has different taste. What might be ugly to you might be hot to me or vice versa.

I think what they mean is that "Looks are not the only thing that matters!", meaning if a guy is a 10 but he acts like a jerk, then no one would want to be with him.

truthfully to some extent but yes your right everyone has standards. I think physical attraction is equally important as one's personality, but beauty is in the eye of the holder....

i think of it relatively is a waste of time to obsess over fat. for my area, im no longer fat, yet i wouldnt ideas being slightly overweight if i replaced into healthy. well being is far greater important than visual attraction, so it is going to no longer count if youre gruesome and fat, it purely concerns while you're healthy.

yes to some extent. unless ur really really ugly. eveyone has standards and everyone has the chance to find true love. regardless if they are ugly or not.

I think SOME people arent telling the truth wat I want is a girl who is fun, smart, easy to talk to, fun to talk to, and good looks as an extra (but i dont need it). luckily i have one and im 99.9% sure that i love her
