Ashley, is it real or spray on? If it is real, as far as I know, you just need to wait it out. Maybe try exfoliating daily or twice a day to rid the top layer of tanned skin? If it is spray on, try the exfoliating. But I also think there is a chemical or soap that you can wash with to remove. I am sorry - I don't know it off hand. Maybe someone here will know? Or call the tanning salon and ask? I remember reading about it a year or so back - it works like a "corrector" for self-tanning mistakes, also.

I heard that if you use a fake tanning lotion and don't like the outcome, then you can use fingernail polish remover to get it off. Ihave never tried it though, so I would use it on a part that not is seen all the time. If you got a tan from the tanning bed or sun, I don't think there is a way to get rid of it, unless you scrap of the top layer of your skin...not a bright idea. Sorry I know nothing else to help.

Ok, if it is a SUNTAN, the tanned skin is damaged & you don't get rid of it. It just needs to fade.
the links below discuss this:
the 2nd link says something about lemon juice, interesting.

I would suggest staying indoors for a few days. That's all I can think of. Just stay out of the sun as much as possible!

Bleach seems to work. But be careful not to swallow.
Don't like your tan? Too bad.

Exfoliate as much as you can handle without getting raw skin. Use a loofah.
