I lost 120 pounds, had very little
sagging skin. worked out it seem
to take care of itself. Maybe 200
pounds or more maybe sagging
skin then. ( didn't lose 120 all at
once ) lost 20 maintained 2 weeks
worked on 20 more until I was down
where I wanted to be. I think if you
lose weight too fast that might cause
sagging, So take your time, You did
not gain it all at once......

My sister is 5 ft even and weighs 108 lbs. She's since been lifting weights and has gained muscle, so now she's 112 lbs. Many moons ago, she weighed 170 lbs. When she was fat, she had a little bit of overhang on her belly. Now, the overhang is gone, but she has some loose skin there.

Within the past 4 years, it's gotten tighter, since she's been losing more and more weight, and has been building the ab muscles too. Ah yes, she also has a little bit of loose skin on the upper arms, but the muscle building has started to fill that up.

Over time, I mean a long time, skin does shrink back. However, if it was completely stretched out in the first place, it may not shrink back as quickly as we might want it. I don't know if she'll have a perfectly flat tummy without surgery, but it seems she's heading that way. Only time will tell.

I wish I could tell you that her tummy is completely flat without surgery, but that's not the case.

Even if there's some excess skin, who cares? I'm not trying to make light of your situation, as I'm currently trying to lose weight and am morbidly obese. I understand your concern, because I wonder the same thing. I figure it this way... it's much MUCH better to lose the weight and have some sagging skin, that CAN tighten btw (although I don't yet know to what degree), than to have the excess weight. Besides, not many people walk around with the tummy showing, as most people wear blouses/shirts that cover it.

Best to you in your weight loss goals. In the end, no one cares about what your tummy looks like but you. Just your progress!

If you happen to still dislike the skin hanging, lift some weights. I don't mean little pink 3-5 pounders, I mean heavy weights to build the muscle. That will fill in some of the looseness. If anyone discourages you from building muscle 'cause you're a woman, ignore them for they don't know what they're talking about.

Here's a great site about women lifting weights. Btw, a woman who lifts heavy weights doesn't get guy-big unless she takes 'roids:

Well, I had been healthy eating plan such a lot of my lifestyles. This is what I've learn and heard approximately sagging epidermis after wasting such a lot weight. The quantity of sagging epidermis a dieter will get after wasting weight relies on the resiliency of that man or woman's epidermis. This is commonly founded on age and what sort of weight that man or woman loses. The more youthful you're while you lose the burden the bigger. Younger skins has a bigger capability to recuperate from stretching. Compare your epidermis to a rubber band. The more recent the rubber band, the extra elastic it's and because it age and will get older it will get extra brittle and its capability to reform again to its common kind minimize. Another aspect that results the quantity of sagging epidermis a man or woman will get is founded on how gigantic that man or woman is earlier than wasting the burden. I wager this will also be bigger defined utilizing a balloon. The extra air you place within the balloon the extra it stretches. The extra it stretch the extra the balloon loses its capability to recuperate whilst the air is allow out. It is like attaining the stretching prohibit of the balloon (aka the factor of no go back). This proposal is the identical for the human epidermis. Combining those 2 situations could particularly be dangerous. It is unhappy however precise. You could have got to get surgical procedure simply to take away the additional epidermis (sometimes called epidermis tuck). Good good fortune. I desire this knowledge is helping.

you shouldnt have problem with sagy skin if you lose weight healthy way which is 1-2lbs a week by eating healthy amount of calories and exercising.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

60-70 lbs overweight is not anything to worry about regarding skin sagging. If you were over 100 lbs overweight, then maybe.
