My boyfriend and I have a wonderful relationship, no real problems.
It's just that he's away on a trip right now, he can't be by his phone very much, and I'm here at home stuck with homework. I can't keep my mind off of him, and when I do my homework, I keep thinking about him.
Do you have any suggestions for keeping my mind off of him?

It's only a 3-day trip, nothing too serious. It's just that I have a TON of homework to do, and I keep thinking of him, which distracts me very effectively. No time for friends right now, unfortunately....

Set yourself on limits. Focus yourself on what to do first especially with your homework.

It's only three days! I don't see my guy for 2 weeks at a time because he lives so far and gets tired. Don't let your grades slip. Keep your obligations handled and that way you and your man will have a better time together upon his return. Listen to some music, take a walk, read a good book and grab some gelato.
First, just do your homework!

I don't know if this will help but here goes anyway.
Just like you, I am missing someone terribly right now. Difference is? She's not my girlfriend, we're not in a relationship and I don't know if I'll ever get to see her in class and talk to her anymore next semester on.
As for you, he's your bf, you know he's coming back to you, 3 days or 3 weeks he'll still be back by your side eventually. There's nothing to worry about, all you have to do is wait. So, there's nothing to feel bad about. It's fine to miss him, but why treat it as if it's a bad thing? Why need to get him off your mind? He's your BF, let yourself love him.
My gyess is perhaps theres something that's bothering you. If you can get those negetive thoughts out of your mind, you'll be just fine. Missing a person who will eventually comes back to you is a beautiful thing. Missing a person who will never comes back to you, that's the terrible one.

If there is no problems and there is love between you, don't try to forget about it. I understand its affecting your homework, but all good things come to people that wait. It's rare to find a woman that can't stop thinking about their loved ones. Just try your best with your homework and count the minutes till he gets back. You can do it. If anything it should make your studying stronger because you have to study things over twice. lol You can do it.

I've been in this situation. But to be honest, 3 days is nothing.
Listen to music while you are doing homework, or try to not do your homework in your room. There might be some things in there that remind you of him.
Also, if you can take a break, one thing that I've done is made my boyfriend one of those blankets that you tie and gave it to him when he got back. That passes the time.

Maybe u shouldn't keep your mind off of him.Of course u have to finish your homework but the feelings u have right now turn into longing and when he comes back u will feel soooooo happy u might even shake!

The only way you'll get your homework done is if you do it lol... no easy way around the feelings of love... tell yourself that you need to try and be the best person you can be and part of that is getting your work done. If it helps, do your homework "for him" so that you dont get yourself in trouble by failing classes...parents dont like that!

When i do my hw i would always listen to music which helps me with my hw (dont ask) and it keeps my mind off of things. i would sugest to turn on the tv but that will still be distractin probably. just when or if u listen to music while doin hw dont listen to any slow songs cause that might tract u to think about him.

i say finish your homework and stay off of the computer...he'll be pissed if he gets home and you can't hang out with him because you are still finsihing your homework...You might want to grow up a little; soon you will graduate and big people problems to worry about.
