Hey wedge-an, let me explain it to you the way it is. Number 1. 1995 monte carlo came back from lumina, it was a piece of crap in the front end so Nascar helped them out with a 3 inch kickout on the nose that is still in effect today. That adds to downforce, they can go when it is time and you can see it in the race. When the taurus came out in 1998 it won at Las vegas 2nd race of the season, 7 out of the top 10 were Fords. Nascar promptly put a spoiler rule on the Ford after 1 dominating race. Nascar Favors Chevy it is a proven fact look at their actions. Only Chevy Lovers don't see anything wrong with what is going on. The proof is in the actions. That is not BS opinion it is a fact. The Fusion is the only car in the field that has the true front end fascia, Dodge headlights if they looked like the race car would be back in the fender. Look at the real charger, that front end is like a brick. Chevy Monte Carlo would have a 3 inch bumber sticking way out. Chevy has won all but 1 race this year, hmmm. Nascar is happy!! I think it is major BS and the other manufacturers ought to just get together and find out what is going on. How long has it been since you heard about Nascar taking cars to the windtunnel. Who knows what advantage the Chevy has in the inspection of that new r07 engine in the room of doom. When was the last time you heard a winners engine going through the whistle test(for those of you who don't know) that is one of the quick ways they test compression on the engine. We don't see any of the pre or post race inspections so we, I should say some of you take it for granted that they all get inspected the same and fairly. We don't know squat till they show some of that stuff on live tv perhaps on speed channel that it is on the up and up. So besides giving them an advantage in front of the fans, what makes you think that they won't give them more of an advantage behind the scenes. To answer the question it is fixed for the Chevy teams and if another team wins it is not the desired result.

To some degree I can see your point, but, I have become disenchanted with NASCAR since the drivers have all become "stars" making enormous amounts of money and being interviewed for their opinion on anything from toilet paper to beer to blue jeans to god-knows-what. And now that they drive these "cars of the future" where the real Dodges, and Fords and Chevies have given way to some rubber stamped "safety car" with identical horsepower and aerodynamics, I'm even more bored. If you think today's NASCAR is like WWE on wheels, you oughta have seen it back in the 1970's when safety was a "four-letter-word" and there weren't all these multi-car teams and racing was "all-helll-bent" speed to the checkered flag, where Daryl Waltrip was racing along with Richard Petty and the other big names of the times. THAT was when NASCAR truly was
WWE on wheels, or maybe it was just still the rum-runners on a bit fancier wheels from where they came. It's tame now. God Bless you.

Only as long as posters like Mary D. keep thinking things are fixed to favor Chevy. Mary there's a reason why there's more Chevy's than Fords it's called the Fusion's a piece of crap(Hell Biffle even said his car was junk today). Yes the race might've been won by a Chevy but the most laps were led by Dodges and Toyotas. And if it really was like the WWE then there would've been one of those mysterious debris cautions, that would've allowed the big names still left in the race(Jr., Johnson, Stewart) to win the race rather than having Mears win it. Believe me I know how much wrestling is fixed(more like scripted) and this isn't even close to that.

Quite possible, but there is a difference between ruff driving and getting caught up in the middle of someone else's mistake.

Yep it is fixed as long as Chevies are winning. If Fords dominate all of a sudden it's "broke" and NASCAR has to have rules changes. FAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!!!!!!!!!!
