Desiree, you are on a very wrong loigic all the time when you ask question about our belief. If you do not want to believe God and the bible just stay on your seat and watch your favorite TV personality.

What is your problem about us when we believe God. We are not forcing you to believe God if you do not want . Believe what you believe and we believe ours too. No more no less. You have been asking unnecessary questions, yet you do not believe us. What more? yOU ARE JUST INVITING PEOPLE TO FIGHT WITH YOU ON YOUR WRONG LOGIC. dO NOT THINK THAT YOU ARE THE BEST IN THIS WORLD AND ON THIS sECTION, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOTHING TO US, cHRISTIANS.

Christians are kind people and God fearing and with good deads. If you do not want to do good things. Go ahead to your bad manners, bad things which you are doing and what you want to do.It doesn't matter to us.

I don't have to feel guilt for what my savior did for me. He did it out of love and it was his plan all along. besided, he is alive forever. I am not afraid of Hell because I won't be going there. There is nothing I can do about being born into sin. Jesus took care of that and now I am free. I don't know who is telling you this stuff but it isn't a Christian.

Hello, Lets just look at this in a pragmatic way rather than quoting scripture. I know that Israel is a tough customer to cross swords with but nevertheless they and the Muslims of that area are caught up in a never ending cycle of violence which neither side will give into. I realize their enemies will never defeat them but then again it is awful that one cannot go for a pizza or expresso without the fear and risk of being blown apart, day in, day out. Christ warned His people of His time to kill your enemies with love rather than using the sword. OK, You saw what happened in the two Jewish revolts beginning 30 years after his execution. It took the Jews nearly 2000 years to get their home back after that one. That said, as for guilt and fear, Christians do not quite live up to Christ's ultimate ideals. After all Christian nations are the most powerful military countries in the world who ruled her for 3 centuries. Was it not Christians who defeated the Nazis who had almost exterminated Judaism? Cheers, Michael Kelly

There is no guilt for the savior if we truly follow his ways...He always loves us no matter what we do.

If we follow Jesus, we should have no fear because were not going to Hell.

I don't feel shame for being born a sinner. God put me here for a purpose and I follow Jesus who washes those sins away.

I have no fear of Hell (or any phobias for that matter). Hell doesn't pretain to the saved.

the only guilt I feel is when I've done something wrong, and that's natural. it's called a conscience.

what shame? I got born again, no need to look back.

Christians do not fear hell, it's not their destination. They fear that many will go, We have no guilt or shame as we gave it to Jesus to take to the cross.

Just as Jesus said His burden is light.

Those that experience such feelings are of the unsaved. Not every one that attends a Church is saved.

As to what happened to the Christ I feel a great sadness but without his sacrifice , no flesh would be saved.

I'm a Christian and salvation has nothing to do with guilt, fear or shame. How do you get those feeling. Those are your psychological defense methods kicking in. Those are also the result of Atheistic Brainwashing. Say something long enough and you will believe it. Can you tell me that you don't use standard argument?

Where do you get that idea? is that the catholic version? we are grateful and greatly humbeled by the sacrifice of our Lord , and his great love for us. God gave us his laws which are very easy to obey..

Shame of being born into sin? Adam and Eve fell which was a bad thing to do, but shame?

A child of God should have no shame.

what part of 'unconditional love' is guilt, fear and shame?
yet, that (guilt, fear, and shame) is certainly how most religious people attempt to motivate (and manipulate) others! remember that, and any doubt about religion can be summarily dismissed, as long as you can remain free of your own (if any) debilitating pride...and as far as 'born into sin' goes, you'll need to ask our ancestors about that...if you still can...

Funny I thought it was Love that Christians had and it is the atheist that keep trying to make us feel guilt, fear and shame at believing we are saved and that we should follow the 10 commandments etc.

As for the hell option why not listen to this and think about whether that would scare you.

It doesn't scare me I won't be going there because I try to follow Jesus and he already paid for my sins.
John 3
16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.[

You might want to notice 17 and 18 there.
