The BIBLE - This powerful book is the physical manifestation of the WORDS God spoke through different people.

This is what the bible has and is and will teach me -
# that Jesus is the Word of God
# the bible is a book that reveals the fullfillment of prophesies
# reveals the charector of God, the Father
# sustains every living thing on the surface of earth
# contains hidden treasures and truths
# gives life to the Righteous
# every word in the bible has the power of creation

I can say many more points, but i want to tell you and everyone reading that the life by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God will enable a person to live in Power and Authority just like Jesus himself..

Thank You for asking and reading and ofcourse the oppurtunity ..God Bless

Besides how to please God and treat your neighbours it also teaches ancient history, sociology and common sense:

Eg's from proverbs:

Better to live on your roof than inside the house with a nagging woman.

Don't visit harlots and lie on their sheets lest you get an arrow in the back (from her pimp no doubt)

Never take responsibilities for anothe man's debt (cosigning); they'll take everything of yours away... even your bed.

Too much rich food will impoverish you!

And last, my favourite... Don't take too much of the wine or you will feel like being on the mast of a ship in a storm at sea then wake up the next morning feeling you had been bitten by a poison snake! You'll then take more to cure the pain ( a piece of hair from the dog that bit you!)

In summation there is something for everyone to profit by in the bible, critical of it as you may be.

1) The history of the human race and specifically the Jews. It has alot of history that without the Bible places and battles found in archaeology would have little reference.
2) That if we put our faith in God we can do big things (David and Goliath) and that even a Godly man (David and Bathsheba) can goof up and ask forgiveness and get it from God.
3) That Jesus came and died for our sins.
4) That there is only salvation through faith in God and following Jesus
5) That the world will hate Christians because of the message of Jesus and to persevere anyway.
6) That in the latter days good will be called evil and evil good and the suffering will be bad!
7) That the end of God's plan is good. (end of Revalations)

Summary: God Loves us.

It teaches me that all the things that go on now that shock or amaze me are really nothing new... those things have been happening since the beginning and maybe by reading those stories we can figure out a better way of handling the stuff in our lives.

The Bible's ethics training could be chanced on someplace else, confident. Jesus did not coach something ethically that may not taught in different religions besides. even with the shown fact that, there are 2 problems with observe: (a million) whilst they are able to be chanced on someplace else they nevertheless could desire to be chanced on someplace. whilst i think Christianity is the terrific and maximum obtainable source, somewhat than attempting, say Buddhism suited, you may attempt examining Wayne Dyer, Thich Naht Hanh, and Henri Nouwen. (2) the unique coaching of the Bible is its changing and transforming into concepts approximately God and Jesus and what's previous the organic and how it pertains to mentioned ethics. those existence training do not exist self sufficient of our spirutual potential, they convey it and alter it in a comments dating. interior the top, an ethic shrink off from spirit continues to be disconnected from our truest selves.
