Actually, working with a nutritionist and was told a serving of fruits or vegetables is around 1/2 cup. We should technically be eating 9 -13 servings a day for optimum health.
So think at least three servings per meal. Example: 1 regular sized banana would be 2 servings so if you added that to a bowl of cereal and drank some orange juice you have your three servings.
At lunch have a dinner sized salad, which is probably at least a cup of veggies and 1/2 c. of a hot veggie with your meal.
Dinner could be similar. If you add 1/2 sliced orange to your salad that would be additional serving.
Eat some yogurt with cut up small apple for another serving as a snack. Or make a dip from unflavored yogurt and eat some raw veggies as a snack.
Really isn't that difficult to get in your needed fruits and veggies this way.
Hope this helped you.

Vegetables it's 1/2 cup cooked, 1 cup raw as a general rule. Fruits are typically one medium for apples, oranges, peaches, etc.. For things like berries and melon cubes it's 1 cup.
