Lately yes that is how i feel. It doesnt help that most of my friends are older and are starting families and that Im quitting drinking. Im in a huge transition and where are all the transition people? Aside from AA or church or whatever. Just regular people who just so happen to have to change their lives in order to survive.

This is the way many people feel during a divorce, too. Every body out there is something other than you, and you feel all alone, lousy and it all stinks.

Congratulations on transitioning from drinking - that is a great step, an well worth all the trouble to get there.

Where are they? It really is hard to say. You won't find them at the bar anymore. Could exercise be the new route they have taken to destress from all their distress??

Find what intrests you - and apply yourself. Along the way you are likely to meet others much like yourself.

Im glad i'm not the only one that feels like that, its like everyone has their own little groups but you cant find yours no matter how hard you try. I started following buddhism and that makes my life a lot easier, it really centres me and puts into perspective whats important in life, but thats just what works for me.
