I'm 5'7" and 120 lbs so no i don't think you'd be too skinny

I'd work out but not to much
it would take about around 7-8 weeks to lose the weight and keep it off...your only supposed to lose 1-2 lbs per week.

I'd go to the gym and work out every day for at least an hour and eat really healthy

Well, it all depends on your frame and your current BMI.

If it is honestly in the best interest of your health to lose 15lbs. and this isn't just some general insecure body image stuff, then I would recommend diet AND exercise. And by diet, I do not simply mean 'not eating' or 'eating very little.' I mean 'eating healthy.' To do so, you need to make sure you are getting the right amount of nutrients and calories. If you simply slash portions and recklessly avoid eating as you feel down, you can potentially throw off your metabolism which leads to WEIGHT GAIN and not WEIGHT LOSS. When we do not eat enough calories, our bodies store what little we eat as fat and our metabolisms slow down which leads to less fat burning.

I was able to lose about 20 pounds over the course of a month or so simply be getting more active and making better dietary choices. I cut out soft drinks, french fries, and junk food. I focused on fish, chicken, and vegetables. I began running 2 - 3 times a week.

The key to my weight loss was a lifestyle change. And I needed to lose the weight. Given the height and weight combo you mentioned, it doesn't seem like you need to lsoe that much. But if you pursue it, do so correctly.

I think your weight is perfect. I wouldn't try to lose any more. If I were you I would just eat healthy and keep up a normal exercise routine. You can always work out using a regimen that would tone your body. You would tighten up any of your problem areas. I personally think you are fine the way you are.

What is your body build - small, medium, large? Are you toned and muscular?
Cut out all fried, fast and junk food - even diet junk food. [ No soda, candy etc ] Just eat lean meat, low fat dairy, whole grain breads and cereals, anf lots of fruit and veggies.
Drink 1/2 gallon of water a day.
Take a quality multivitamin with minerals every day.
Do 30 minutes of aerobics six times a week to lose weight.
[ three times a week for maintainance ]
Do three sets each of 10 reps of girl pushups, situps, crunches, and obliques. Progress to boy pushups, and weight lifting.

Umm if you do lose that much it will most likely be all water weight. Try doing it slowy, maybe 1 lb a week to keep it off. Eat right and excercise.

Edit: Dont worry about your weight, I just looked, you dont need to worry yourself about this! Do something more productive.

this need not be a big deal unless you are not divulging something important.

at the age of 57, you know what it takes to accomplish this request of yours. or do you just have a few points to dispense with?
