I think in a lot of instances they avoid the question and focus on other issues.
I've noticed that mainly when you ask believers a question they focus on the fact that you are questioning their beliefs rather than the specific details of the question, therefore they give answers in response to this. For instance some are saying that they already have proof of god. This is in response to your question in point.
I suppose it's very difficult for many believers to place their mindset in the given scenario because they, themselves, rarely question their beliefs as well.
Of course, there are some people who answer honestly and directly. But for the most part, people avoid the specific question and focus on the questioning itself.

The ministers who answered can't say there is no God and ask for money in the next breath.
My own belief is those who blindly follow without proof are brainwashed, and when they get angry because others don't believe as they do, are mired in denial.
Lutherans, Catholics, Baptists, Snake handlers, Presbyterians - they can't all be right. Maybe there is a much better chance they all are wrong.
If the message was really so true, do you think it would be necessary to cram it down the throats of children from the earliest age?
From the beginning of recorded history, men have conjured up religious explanations for natural phenomenon they cannot explain any other way. As science catches up, these beliefs are debunked with empirical evidence.

I actually believe in God, without the tangible scientific, mathematical proof. I accept knowledge that comes through my heart, and that is where I first acknowledged God. My mind interplayed with my heart and became new also.
I wish there was proof sometimes for those stubborn unbelievers, who do not reason from the heart. Alas, I think even if there was proof some would continue in rebellion. Not only do they claim not to believe, they say things like if there is a God, then he is an awful creator.
Jesus said during his time: "This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet."
Remember, God is seeking those who have faith in him. I believe in God, and I also believe in love, logic, order, courage, goodness, and faith. Can't measure any of them scientifically, but I still believe. Besides that God has washed away all my sins - so why should I ever be angry at him?

Who really causes injustices in the world. Most people can trace the injustices in their own life back to themselves. People start wars over religious and other philosophical reasons because they are hate-filled and intolerant. A drunk driver plows into an innocent family of four because of his decision to drink and drive. We are given free will and what we choose to do with that shapes who we are. The Earth is not one giant puppet show for God.
With that being said no I would not be angry with God. We all have problems. We all have weaknesses. I thank God for my strengths and I find if I focus on them I can overcome my weaknesses. God really is on our side. When we try to go it alone we usually fail or are unhappy. I would definitely have questions for God but the beauty that surrounds me far outweighs any negative thoughts I might have.

A. Please offer your proof that God doesn't exist. (I'll wait here for your answer) "a LONG time" B. I can read it in like the oldest book around aka-the Bible. C. I can read about God in like millions of books, articles, films etc. If God isn't real, why so much press? Why so many books, covering such a long period of time, by so many writers? D. I can go to Church, listen to radio, watch TV programs and hear people talk about God. E. I can look around and see the hand of God in all of creation. F. Jesus is the center of the Bible AND is noted in other eastern religions. What did Jesus have to say and do? G. What kind of proof can you offer that a historical figure like Christopher Columbus existed? Ever seen, talked to, or heard him? Is there more written about God or Columbus?.

I think they did a good job answering. The real question you're asking "is there proof of God", you want christians to answer your question like they have no proof of God , but we do, so we can't give you the answer you want. God came to the earth in human flesh, healed people, raised people from the dead, and then died and rose again, and still people rejected him. When you don't want to believe in God, of course you will find all sorts of "reasons" not to believe, but if you are honestly searching for him, with an open heart , he will be found by you. That's tried and tested!

First off, why would I be angry?
Faith is the ability to believe that God exist. Therefore, if God wants to test this ability of the individual, God himself must remain invisible otherwise the moment He shows himself, the test is ended and faith is replaced with knowledge.
If you trust and have faith, then you accept whatever is being thrown at you in life.
It would not anger me.

i think this post of yours is just another instance of a questioner not liking or grasping the responses given and deciding 'if i don't get the answer i want, i'll just pretend i didn't get any answer'...been there, had one guy so wound up he made up a question just to try to belittle me...again, no i would not be angry with God...i AM, however angry with those responsible for the injustices in this world..and that would be 'mankind'...it's time we grow up and stop blaming God for what WE have done and continue to do...

You totally missed the one rule of all religions. Whether or not you believe if Allah, God, Budah, or what ever. All of them have one common rule. FREEDOM OF CHOICE. Things happen in the world because people choose to do them. Just recently a kid shot up a college in Virginia. NOBODY put a gun to his head and made him do it. He got angry and decided to take out his anger in that way. It's not Gods fault. The only mistake you could possibly say God ever made was giving us choice and quite frankly I am glad he did. Would hate going thru life knowing someone else is in control

It is impossible for me to really sit and type my full idea...so i won;t get all into that. a message board is a tough place to do such things.
But a quick answer, your right. there is no proof of God. that is why they call it faith, or, belief. there is also no proof of me, but you believe I exist based solely on me giving you an answer here.
It goes much deeper than that, of course, but why start such deep discussions (or challenges in this case), on a board when there are many books, lectures, and papers written by people who have spent far more time, and energy discussing this topic, then getting into little arguments on a web page?
And whether you believe in a God or not, long live free will for all of us!
