You have figured out a basic paradox that most Christians either can't grasp or choose to ignore. They tell you something as complex as man could not have evolved by random chance, but then tell you something as powerful as god just appeared out of nothing! You are right to question this. Here are some other things to think about: maybe the universe has always existed, and therefore needs no creator. Or, maybe the universe did have a creator, but it is not any of the gods worshipped by men. Christians will tell you it is a sin to ask these questions and think for yourself.

Frankly, it takes a bigger leap of faith to think the universe was created from nothing - by accident.
Before the universe, there was "nothing". By nothing, I do not simply mean 'an empty cosmos' - I mean nothing at all. No substance, no empty space for there to be a lack of substance, there was nothing. When I say "nothing", I am talking about "nothing" in absolute terms.
You tell me, exactly how everything in the univeser sprang from an absolute nothing? An even bigger question is this - everything in the universe clearly has order. Forces of gravity, among other laws of physics, gives the universe it's structure and stability. Small objects like moons orbit bigger objects like planets. Planets orbit starts and solar systems have there place in a larger galaxy. Galaxies are grouped together in clusters. Put simply, the unverse shows "order", order in an absolute sense.
And what is all this stuff, that somehow came from absolute nothing, made of? Atoms. Atoms are comprised of a core of protons and neutrons with electrons orbiting the core.
So here we see absolute order, from the largest of scales to the smallest of scales, and I am supposed to believe all this inexplicably sprang from absolute nothing?
How do you explain the creation of the universe, that is - without any influence from a Higher Power?
Science does not have an explanation as to "why", or the "how" for that matter. I mean, how can "absolute nothing" explode and become the "absolute order" of the universe?
No.

That is one of the amazing and wondrous things about our God! He never had a beginning. It is impossible to understand, since He made the concept of time for us. I can't wrap my head around "eternity". Frankly, it almost frightens me; I like things to have a beginning and an end. But God is eternal; that is one distinct trait that only He has. The thing is, how else could you explain the universe? Someone or something had to have created it. If you were to listen to the big bang theory, what made the original "bang"? Why was there a bang? So, that doesn't seem logical at all to me. All I have to do is accept that God has always existed and made everything. I hope I have helped you and not wasted your time.

God existed before time, matter, space and energy began with the Big Bang. So,
God must have been a self-created being. According to the theory of evolution, man and other life forms were also self-created.

God isn't a creation. He exists outside of the realm of time and only the temporal need a starting point. God is eternal.
everything has some kind of flaw. with the Big Bang, nothing started it either. so it's just as valid or invalid. I'd personally rather you choose the Creator, the one who actually desires an agape relationship with you, but i can't force you.

This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.
This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.
At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.
We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.
These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.
From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.
I hope that helps to answered your question.
Love and blessings Don

Ofcourse God created the universe and science, but still you need to know God in a personal way. You need to feel the Spirit of God moving across your heart, witnessing to you, and enpowering you for change. I love science, but that is knowing God in such a impersonal way. There is a reason why Jesus called him Father. There is a reason why Jesus died on the cross - for you. Sure know the creation of God in its glory, but also know of the Love of God.

We simply don`t know where he`s from or how he came to exist. There is no testimony about it because it`s not important. The fact that he may have his own God or he`s born the result of the big bang doesn`t change the fact that He is our creator and He has given us the path to follow.

God always was, always will be. He created the universe and mankind. This is hard for a lot of people to believe because it takes faith to believe in things you can't see or don't understand with logic. Faith = the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
