Cod dipped in batter and fried with a side of french fried potatoes. Some malt vinegar makes it nice too. Where I live we also have a hush puppy with that.

I've always considered shrimp to be different from fish. I consider fish and chips, cod and potatoes. To the person above me, in England what we call fries, they call chips.

they call it chips because that's the UK term. out here in America, it's just fish and fries.

I prefer fish and fries. It's never "chips" that they give you, it's always "fries", so I don't know why they call it "fish and chips".
