Pray everytime you have a temptation. Also the longer you go without looking at anything prono the easier it will become for you to turn away. I agree you need to stop as it will warp your idea of what is normal. So try to keep that in mind. It will warp what you think of as normal.

1) Have you ever viewed internet pornography? Yes/No? If not then skip Q1 and Q2 and proceed to #4 if you wish to answer it.- Yes 2) If so - at what age did you first view internet pornography?-10/11 3) Do you view it on a regular basis?-i did when i first discovered it 4) You do not need to answer this, but in all honesty, it will effect whether you gain Best Answer or not. What are your views on this -what's the big deal? they're just people doing what they wanna do with their bodies "Through recent studies, it is now known that at least 1 in every 3 children will have viewed internet pornography by the age of 10".

I think at your age the temptation is probably stronger than as it would be when you get older as most of my male friends say they normally look at it because they are bored and rarely for the 'adult' reasons.
When you're on the computer and get tempted try to play a game or chat with a friend. Learn to use photoshop or something.

A little i believe is okay, it's only curiousity, keep yourself in check (as it sounds you are doing) and I think you'll be just fine.
As a christian you know that god is forgiving, and as a catholic you can confess to when you feel you have done wrong.

I hope you find what is right for you.

Personally I think your nuts for trying to stop. Sexuality is a part of life, we are all here because two people had sex so there is no point in trying to say it's dirty or sinful! Anyway just go to your church and I'm sure they will make you so ashamed that you'll never have sex again. Oh yeah if Father O'Brien offers to give you some "special" 1 on 1 attention run for the hills! LOL

First, you should know that it is normal. But if you are really conflicted.... It sounds like you are pretty religious so maybe go to confession and get some advice. If you think it's an addiction then talk to a counselor or find a support group. I know that's not too easy when you are 13 but you could ask to go to a counselor for some other reason and bring it up once you're there (doctor/patient confidentiality --- your parents wouldn't know). Good luck.

Well, I'm your age, and I don't look at pornography, not because it is a sin (I'm an atheist) but because I simply have never had the desire to.

I don't think there is any way you can stop it. I mean, there is nothing wrong with it, as I see it.

well, i'm 13 too but i'm a girl so i guess that's why i don't have this problem.
it sounds like you just have to try really hard to resist the temptations. tell yourself things to make yourself stop. do something else to get distracted whenever you start to feel the urge would be my advice.
good luck!

Ok.... here's a surprise for you........
YOU'RE NORMAL !!!!!!! :-)
Believe me, you're not the only
young male who has gone through
that period in their life.
When you get the 'urge' to take a
peek, find something else to do
or to read, or do some made up
home work .
But I commend you on wanting to
stop...and it isn't going to be all
that easy for the simple reason that
society pushes it so much !!!!
Best of Luck, young 'Man' !!!!!

dude i had the same problem. oh my gosh! then I realized just how big of a deal it REALLY is. and your right it's a terrible sin. just get more involved with friends. and spend less time on the comp at night. actually though i didn't do it as much as it sounds like you do. just needed to make that clear.

Wow...that is a tough one. Not sure how to help, but its just like any other addiction, like smoking for example, you just have to tell yourself you are going to STOP and stick with it. Good luck man
