Would be a good time to check for a blown fuse.The fuse type and location is listed in the owners manuel

the inst lamp is blown you need to recheck yor wiring the dash light wire is not used on aftermarket stereos

recheck the wiring. if you did not use afermarke wiring harness then you must. but be carefull sometines the colors dont match up. then again some radios dont come equiped with instrument controled lighting and if not then your lights will still not work.
