Actually you are not a Catholic because a Catholic would understand that the Holy Eucharist is the true Body and Blood of Jesus. The host changes into the Body and Blood of Jesus through the Holy Spirit that is what transubstantiation is about. The substance of the bread and wine/water remain but it has been filled with the essence of God which is how it's the Body and Blood of Jesus. The sacrifice is a bloodless sacrifice to be observed by all generations. The reason why Non-Catholics are recommended not to partake of the Holy Eucharist mainly because most do not believe it to be the true Body and Blood of Jesus and the other reason is that by partaking in communion you are also stating you believe everything that the Catholic Church teaches if in your heart you do not what you have done is lied to yourself therefore you committed mortal sin. You do realize that at the Last Supper Jesus done that very thing He taken bread made by human hands and said, "This is my Body", He broke it and distributed it amongst the Apostles to eat and again He took the cup and said, "This is my Blood", and again He passed it around for His Apostles to drink. Now He instructed His Apostles to do this in memory of Him so that's exactly what His Apostles had done, and their successors had done throughout the centuries.

Jesus was talking to men who were 'fishermen' they fished for a living, He was telling them that He would teach them how to teach others. ' Fishers of men' was an expression.
They ate fish, not humans.
