Has anyone heard of the artist Burny Myrick from Louisiana?

Hi,
I met Burney in the Fall of 1977. He was living in Jackson Square, in the French Quarter. He was a painter of Mississippi River water scenes depicting the large paddle-wheel boats. Only met him once. Interesting fellow.

Burny Myrick was married to my sister, Beverly Schabilion. I have several of his works.
