When I asked if you would chose to be in hell rather than stay in heaven knowing that your spouse was suffering and alone (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070527175732AAoPVPH&pa=FYd1D2bwHTHwLLplFekzRP1o0utmGMLCnLLh_Vu38CEWOhaO4XKg49p1.18WYawIWD9RoHkNk2a7kg--&paid=asked&msgr_status= ), several Christians explained to me that in heaven we won't have any memories of our loved ones. Therefore, we won't be bothered by the fact that they are being horrifically tortured for all eternity.

They pointed out, in all fairness, that it would be difficult to enjoy oneself knowing that everyone you ever loved was, well, in hell.

My problem with that is, Wouldn't the very act of erasing our earthly memories make us a different person? Wouldn't that remove our free will? What if we WANT to remember our lives and our loved ones? Do we have a choice in the matter?

I'm concerned because Christians usually say that God HAS to send people to hell rather than interfere with their will.

1. God doesn't send people to hell, people chose to got there. If they chose to live without God for 70 measly years, then eternity is no problem.
2. I cannot say, confirm or deny what we carry in memory to heaven. Nothing in the Bible is specific on this subject.
3. If any Christian's relationship with others on earth is above their relationship with their heavenly Father, there is a dilemma that needs to be corrected. It is His relationship with us that should be numero uno, and my wife knows that, as do I.
4. The Bible does say about being unequally yoked with unbelievers. My wife and I are saved. I will get to spend eternity with God and my wife. My hope is my children will be there as well.

That is something I will not pass up.

we could examine this ingredient step by step.. Does God exists? answer Can the two be sure or this is NO. If the respond isn't any then the two, non secular and non-non secular human beings are going to be computer virus food after-demise. If the respond is sure (And if eternal Heaven and HELL certainly exist) then the Non-Believers are in a great pile of difficulty. anyhow non secular human beings are on the safer ingredient. What does it takes to be non secular? i'm a Muslim. Our 5 pillars are.... have faith in one and in basic terms one actual GOD... That dosent takes any attempt or time or money. Namaz... couple of minutes of ur on a daily basis activities. Zakat (Charity) .... a ethical element to do. Fasting ... confusing yet do-able. Hajj Pilgrimage.. given which you're able to have adequate money it. And different substantial issues to be prevented in my faith is Alcohol... No.one million clarification for Fights and Murders and all undesirable issues. Smoking .. motives Lung cancer. Adultery... Moraly additionally incorrect. So, as i grow to be asserting if GOD exists Then Beleivers will lose 40-50yrs of exciting filled life and benefit eternal Heaven. And Non-Believers might have 40-50 yrs of exciting filled life and benefit Hell. If God doesnt exist then.. Believers will lose 40-50 yrs of probably funfilled life and could be computer virus food. Non-Believers will benefit 40 -50 yrs of probably funfilled life and could be computer virus food. I certainly have theory over this and desperate to be a believer. And in accordance to me Islam is the main clever faith on earth .. So I save on with Islam and attempt to be a solid Muslim. relax I go away it as much as you all..

But when in Heaven you will understand God's ways and will not have the desire to be worried. You CAN'T you will be different because you are with Jesus in Heaven in eternity. It won't matter what happens to your loved ones. Because you will be renewed in God's figure.

we will have plenty of memories. the Bible says we'll even mourn for them! so no, we're not brainwashed. just the sinful element of human nature is removed once you leave this life and enter eternal Life.

God doesn't manipulate, and brainwashing is manipulation

God doesn't make us forget our lives, but we will be overwhelmed by his glory that we will forget. It is not his doing but it is because we will be amazed by his Holiness.
may God bless you and everyone you love!

Maybe that's what the Bible means by not being unequally yoked.
