We Christians don't really have rituals, but prayer is the best thing in rough times.

Rituals do not get to the point. I do not consider prayer a ritual, but a privilege. Rough times have a purpose in our lives, to make us turn to God or away from God. If we turn to Him, He is pleased. If we accept that His will for our lives is best, we can begin to see that He has taken something away to give something better or has given you a trial to help you learn to conform to the image of Jesus.
Hard lessons are not unloving lessons when you are His child.

Christians dont perform rituals sweetie!!

We pray to God and read the bible for guidance and comfort.

We also ask others to pray for us was we are going through a tough time and it works!!

Prayers are always answered, may not be immediate but it works!!

God is there always even through the rough times and as long as you hold on to that you will have comfort and be relying on him and his strength.

He said in his word i will never leave you nor forsake you !!!

And he means it!!

I wish you the best!!

This is one poem that is always helpful
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:

"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

The Serenity Prayer:

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Try the Lord's Prayer.

Matthew 6
"This, then, is how you should pray: "'Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'""

Don't do anything like this.
Colossians 2:20-23
Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules: "Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!"? These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

Let out all your deep personal sadness through a long prayer to God and if you let Jesus in your home and heart He will help you if you come to Him. You may think He isn't listening but he is there for you and can help you.
