I used to drive Figure 8 and demo derby in a friends old 1959 Buick Invicta. You couldn't even tell what kind of car it was it had so much sheet metal welded all over it. LOL

About 1974 and 75 I drove a 1967 Ford Fairlane,it was a dirt modified.The division was called "cadet" it was drivers with less than 2 years racing.Run a 1/4 mile dirt track in the panhandle of Florida. Had 1 win,4 (2nd -5th),5( 6th - 10th) started 40 races.
Last time in a car was November 2005.Talladega,NASCAR Driving Experiance.Had a 6 lap riving experiance,speed was 175 mph.

Never driven a race car, but when I was about 411 months pregnant with my first child I won a go-cart at a the stock car races; I was supposed to take a "victory lap" in it, but since I figured it would take the Jaws of Life to get me back out, I declined the honor and let my sister do it in my stead. LOL

I have driven go-karts and a quarter midget. It's my dream to race stock cars. I rode in one at Talladega when my uncle did the Richard Petty Driving Experience.

I haven't, but my mom just ran (as a passenger) at Talladega this past Saturday-May 26,2007...they went 185 MPH. It was her dream come true! She's in her 60's and about to retire. I'm so happy for her!
