I feel nothing but love, pride, and accomplishment for my husband! He's my companion, my confidante, and my hero. These feelings aren't just because he's served in Iraq twice. These feelings are of pride that he excels in everything he does. These are feelings of love for someone who will put their country, family, and friends above himself. He's not perfect but he's pretty close! The more we are apart the more I learn about his sacrifice for us.

My dad is retired now but I have the same feelings for him. He was in for twenty years. He made the military work for him. Not only was he an extremely active role in my life, apparently, he was also an active role model to many young airmen. He proceeded to get two bachelor degrees but never sacrificed his time with his family. He has always lived his life to the fullest helping people learn and grow professionally and personally. [Using a little tough love...] He has supported many missions during deployment and at his own base. I think his pride towards his work was what made him the best of the best. I remember at his retirement ceremony how many lives he'd affected.

I'm so proud of both of them. They are both great fathers, husbands, and service members. While they may not be remembered by all for their accomplishments I know they will go down in my heart and so many others for being the great men in uniform and out!

My moms first husband died in War, My bio father served, I served, my husband served. How do I feel? Honor, sacrifice and pride that we are part of selfless group of individuals that come together as a common good to help others.
I cry every memorial day thinking of those that did their duty and gave their lives. It's such an honor being part of a military family and realizing what they did and how they did it.

I don't but I feel our troops have deserved much more in every way than they are getting out of the BILLIONS of $$ stipulated for the 'war'.
They got cut down from 4Mil to 2Mil to update their protective gear. They almost got a over-due raise but GW vetoed it down to less money. And he's giving himself total control, OMG.

It means that our forefathers, brothers, sisters, acquaintances and kin have shed blood and given their lives so as that human beings like "Joe" on right here have the liberty of speech to precise themselves whether we trust him or not. those freedoms and rights are the common beginning place that this usa grow to be geared up on. a great variety of human beings tend to take them with no attention, yet this would not substitute the certainty that many have, and could proceed, to die to safeguard the form that ensures those common rights to each citizen of those usa. at present is approximately people who "Gave all of it" so as that people who did not can proceed to rejoice with the liberty's that created this "great test in Democracy" that we call u.s..
