girls what do you wear?
and say no bra is not acceptable is it ok to wear one of those singlets with a loose sorta shelf bra in them under say a button up pj top
what is acceptable?

A singlet would be OK. It more or less depends upon how big busted you are. If you are smaller build then it won't matter as much. If you really need a bra, then wear a sports bra or singlet if you don't care to wear a regular bra.

as a mother of a 17 yr old son and 2 young daughters no way should you attend a co ed sleep over? and what's wrong with that? everything. and if the adults are throwing it and they are there then there's something really wrong.

There are many, many things wrong with a co-ed sleepover. There is a reason people should not sleep together, cuddling, until they are married.
