My zippo just ran out of fuel, and i dont want to buy the regular zippo fuel. Are there any household items of objects i can use?

rubbing alcohol will work but dry up quick.....kerosene is a good choice, lamp oil, baby oil with a little alcohol......or just another brand of lighter fluid like Ronsonol

Kerosene will not ignite with a spark. Rubbing alcohol is 30% water and will produce a totally watersoaked fuel reservoir. Shellac thinner (denatured alcohol) might work but it is probably not suited to the burner design. What would work just fine is naptha-type spot remover, e.g. renuzit. Coleman fuel would also work, but since it is like a low-grade gasoline (very high vapor pressure and low flash point), you may get those singed eyebrows.

No, A friend of mine ran out once and used gasoline and went without eyebrows for a few weeks

I've used ordinary, low grade gasoline before now with no problem.

No butane? You could go back to using matches.
