i thought i read the bible wrong... i just cant believe it mentions "after the 10th month..."
it's impossible to hoard that amount of food to feel all the animals... or even one family... unless they only ate dried food... or gopher wood...

lol pangel... there was something about 40 in the bible too... i think it rained for 40 days and nights but the windows of heaven and the fountains of the deep werent closed until 150 days later... if i read it correctly, that's another contradiction.

About 10 months?
Makes you wonder where they stored all that food for all those animals that wouldn't have been able to fit on an ark anyway.
And what did Noah do after that? Build rafts to send the marsupials to Australia, llamas to South America and, Grizzlies to North America (to name a few out of millions).

Noah entered the ark in the 600th year of his life, on the 17th day of the 2nd month (Genesis 7:11-13). Noah left the ark on the 27th day of the 2nd month of the following year (Genesis 8:14-15). Therefore, assuming a lunar calendar of 360 days, Noah was on the ark for approximately 370 days

I've always read 40 days and 40 nights. However, I heard that '40 days and 40 nights' is an old hebrew expression that basically means 'so long that you lose track of time and have no idea how long it has been anymore.' That's why so many instances in the Bible have the time frame of 40 days and 40 nights.
