I don't think you can because not ALL Christians take the bible literally. I am Catholic, for example, and we do not take it literally. I guess just pose your questions specifically to those who do. I don't know if fundamentalist is the correct term, maybe? I wouldn't want to speak for them though - not knowing if that's true.

I don't see the problem of addressing a general group of people. If your being blamed for specifically talking to a large group of people, someones got issues.
