I've always wondered this since only something like 2% of peole wait until marriage. And who knows what that means by waiting since I have met a lot of "everything but" couples.
I see alot of stuff about you should only wait until marriage here. But I think a lot of it is from younger teens who have not actually been out in the world that much or have been in a long term relationship. I have no problem with people wanting to wait (really, I only want to have sex with one person my entire life as well) but it shouldn't be forced upon people.

Depends upon which theists you are talking about. It's been a long time since anyone was burnt at the stake, none of today's believers should feel the least bit guilty about something they didn't do. However, those believers who did actually punish scientists are guilty, and should have felt so, for what they actually did. Stop confusing the individuals with the general population. That would be like my asking: "Shouldn't atheists feel guilty? About the way their lack of belief has held back the spread of religion. How many more people would be redeemed, had Lenin, Marx and Stalin not forced everyone to suppress their religion?"* *I in no way blame any atheist for this other than Lenin, Marx and Stalin, and other Communist leaders.

Why do you think Theists commit fornication all the time? Fornication is sex between two unmarried parties. It's not a requirement for someone who believes in God. And who can commit fornication all the time anyway? We have to eat, sleep and work, ya know. We Theists can't just spend all our time fornicating - we'd look like death warmed over after a while. And then who would we find to fornicate with us?

I believe in God, I believe in the saving grace of Christ, does that qualify me as a theist? I don't know...but I do not commit fornication all the time, or at all. In my college days I was foolish and could not say the same thing, but I have since matured and am holding out until Im married. I am that way out of respect for God and for my future wife, because I want to marry a girl who feels the same way

Wow, good question!
(I haven't had to think about that in almost 17 years since I have been married that long.)
I've never had any affairs either, so as far as that goes, I'm clean.
