There's actually an easier way. Play an A2 chord (2nd fret on the d,g string/2 middle strings)with your ring and flipper finger. Then take your pointer and play the second fret on the E string. It is kind of a cheater chord but it will work. You can also slide the whole thing up to the 4th fret for a g#m or it can also play an E/G#. This is a very useful formation when playing in the key of E.

just bar across the first frett then5&4 across the 3rd frett you wanna try somthing real stupid try a G9
