The harbor area and Fell's Point have lots of visit-y sort of places. Canton (farther east along the waterfront from Fell's Point) is kind of a yuppie/clubby area, but still might have interesting places for you. Up the Charles St. corridor there are some nice socializing spots, and the Walters and the Baltimore Museum of Art are both free now and have some nice stuff. Concerts - well, Belvedere Square (York Road and Belvedere) has open-air bands every Friday night that draw good crowds, and there are a lot of nice places to go and good eating spots near there. Oregon Ridge has BSO concerts during the summer, and there are plays and musicals in town fairly often on tour. The City Paper has some information, and the Sun also.
