You asked more that a one liner. Pasta is a heathy food, whole wheat is much better, and is more widely available now . Store bought sauce is not real bad for you, but you can make better if you have the time. Read the labels, stay away from high sugar, and remember everything in moderation!!

Pasta is a good source of carbohydrates and energy too, eating on regularly basis can help to your health if you have a daily baisis of exercise, but eating too much pasta or spaghetti without doing exercises thats unhealthy and you may gain a few extra pounds because carbohydrates turns into sugar and sugar into fat! Hope this answers your question in the best way possible! Good luck!

Nothing in excess is good for you. But, as a whole, spaghetti can be healthy - just watch the salt and the sugar (from the spaghetti sauce).

It's the meat in the spaghetti sauce. Just use plain marinara sauce without meat or meatballs. Still tastes good, and a lot better for you.

if its really bad for a diabetic, then its bad for you entirely! lots of pasta will put weight on you to say the least. eat canned fruit and veggies or fresh fruit and veggies, all kinds. then you can lose weight, and feel good. i know bescause ima diabetic and if i eat a whole plate of pasta i feel kinda bad after eating it, i feel kinda sluggish and tired. and thats why i avoid eating pasta of any kind, however you can eat a big baked potato on the grill wrapped in aluminim foil everyday and you can still lose weight, just no cheese or real butter or sour cream. i know im wise at dieting!

It depends. The size of your portions and if you are eating other food, such as salads. As far as the sauce, again that depends. It could contain extra vegetables and meat, and the more veggies the better.

Pasta is fattening...if you are overweight it's bad. If you are thin and training for sports it's ok to load up on pasta for the carbs.
