I have two children and i'm currently pregnant. My husband and I are thinking about getting a Mercury Mountaineer because it has third row seating and seats seven! They are very nice. Also the Ford Explorer (XLT) I believe has third row seating as well. My husband and I are not ready for a mini van. For some reason he thinks it will make him feel old! I can't complain though because I liked both the Mountaineer and Explorer XLT. Right now we are in limbo trying to decide what one we like most! As of next week looks like the Mountaineer is going to be parked in our driveway!

I would suggest a mini van such as a Toyota ( I can't remember the name) or perhaps a SUV with a third row of seats that way as the children grow out of the car seats they are not crammed together or too close as being in tight quarters most kids start fighting. Look for the features you want also such as side curtain air bags or some mini vans have doors on both sides and so forth. Make sure to test drive several before deciding on one and put your car seats in them during the test drive so you can see which cars have the easiest way to put them it...nothing worse than fighting with a car seat everytime you have to switch cars for some reason.

Mini vans are always roomy and good for several children. I know some people feel funny driving a minivan especially if you're young, I do. If thats the case you can get something like a larger SUV that sits 7 passengers. I plan on getting a Chevrolet Tahoe when I have my 3rd child.

You might should consider a mini van
Your going to have kids in car seats for several years and children are easy to get in and out of them. We are having our second child and looking at a minivan.

I have only two kids and I love my minivan. I have the toyota sienna. A great car. It doesn't drive like a bus. it is very comfortable and roomy. The DVD player comes in real handy during long rides and traffic! I trust it and I never have needed it fixed at all.

We bought a minivan last summer and we only had one child/ We bought a Chrysler Town and Country with a DVD player. We are 29 weeks pregnant and we love our minivan. We just took a trip last week and we had four adults and my three year old and had plenty of room.

It is the mini van- the epitome of the family. Comfortable and spacious, lots of windows to circulate noxious smells from different sections, places to hang a TV |DVD player from, bucket seats to keep fighting siblings apart. It must have been designed by a woman. GOD BLESS HER.
