Why do everyone who asks a question, give out stupid answers?

I mean why is it when people put reasonable questions on here, you get the idiots giving rediculous answers.

yeah, i agree with this. my guess is that most people just want the blooming points. So they say stupid stuff because its easier to earn the 2 points than actually put in the effort and genuine thoughtfulness to answer someones question.
In my experience, people don't care about other peoples problems, they only care about themselves. I've had the same problem on here. My suggestion is to not give up asking and just ignore the answers you don't need. Take what you like and leave the rest. Just keep your chin up because there are some genuine people out there who truly want to help.

1st of all there will always be "idiots" as you call them and if you really dont want them to ask yahoo for a idiot filter

2nd of all i toatally agree with you, i just think you should be nicer and not call then idiots but i can also totally understand that i do not knnow who you are and the situation you are in so u could be angry right now and call people idots and later u can say sorry

3rd why is it that when people put "idiotic" questions here people read them and waste time to write reasonable answers?

Sometimes I get very thoughtful, thorough answers. Other times some joker writes a prank--but not very often.

I guess it all depends on who is on-line when your question appears. A little joke is okay for certain questions, but not for the really serious ones.

Like, celeb Penelope Cruz asked how she could make her house 'green', and a couple of people answered that she should go to the store, get green paint, and paint it green. That was cute--especially since she asked for inexpensive tips--when she is a celebrity.

All sorts of people use this forum, some take it seriously and others don't.

You also get people who claim to know what they're talking about and have no idea at all. I've seen some pretty stupid and dangerous answers especially to do with health issues.

It can be annoying but it's all part and parcel of the whole experience. Just ignore the idiots, it's certainly not worth bothering yourself about them.

I agree with you also. You're just genuinely asking a question cuz you or nobody else you know doesn't know the answer and they have to either be scarcastic about it or make a fool out of you...like they know it all! It really is bothersome. I honestly think that they're just sitting at the computer, bored out of their mind, stuffing their faces, and laughing their @sses off, while we're here (sometimes) desperately waiting by the computer waiting for a damn answer....(to all you losers out there...GET A LIFE!)

I would say just to get points. I am a mechanic and I answer questions to help . I dont care about points but try to help people that really want help with their car.
The answers I give does help if you have a little knowledge of cars.

Hate the ones that get points after points for saying:"don't know", and wish Answers would come up with blocking system so you could stop someone from answering your questions.

There are a lot of people out there not interested in helping others, just racking up points. Sad really- i hate that. Some also just like to get people angry with them.

Because they are childish and they just want there 2 points or in some cases they think they are better then everyone else and they are right about everything. It bugs me also.
