You have a legal obligation to inform your insurer about any material fact that could affect the cover or the premium. In this case it is up to you to advise the insurer about the points incurred. If you haven't declared the points then you could be in trouble at a later date - if you have a claim and have withheld material facts then the policy could be declared void, in which case you would find yourself responsible for your own damages and the third party damages. There could also be an issue about you driving with out valid insurance. It simply isn't worth taking any chances where motor insurance is involved. Ring Admiral and explain the situation. Many people will say that it is up the the insurance company to check details - after 15 years working for a major insurer I can tell you that this is not the case. Insurance companies take your details in good faith, which means that it is up to you to advise the insurer of any changes.

Tell them that you will not pay for the old car to be insured since you made that request and it was not honored. Tell them that you did not file any claims on the old car during this time that it was supposed to be cancelled and that they better remove it by the end of the business day and refund you any premiums charged or you will be cancelling all your insurance with them and contacting the Dept. of Insurance in your state. If they refuse, then do just that. Sounds like a crappy insurance company to me anyway. Good luck to you!

Do you still have the old car? or did you sell it? If you DON'T want the car on your policy, you call your agent/company and remove the vehicle from your policy. Its VERY simple, people do it all the time! But you do need to tell them. They also can only remove the vehicle from your policy from the time you told them to. You can't tell them today, oh yeah 6 months ago I got rid of that second car, can you reimburse me for 6 months of premium? umm no, that won't happen.

Are you dealing with Internet insurance.?
Why didn't the dealer take care of this?? last time I bought a new car, the dealer took care of everything.
I'd call the co in the morning, first thing.

Get rid of these crooks and get another company, once they start to screw you, there will be no end to trouble. This is exactly the kind of crap I went through with GMAC insurance.
Try Liberty Mutual, their rates seem to be good and I haven't heard of any complaints, that doesn't mean there haven't been any, I just am not aware of any.

Definitely fight the incorrect charges on your insurance bill. If they acknowledged that you no longer have the first vehicle titled to you, then they should credit your account for the incorrect charges.
