The Jews that wanted him dead was for political reasons, the majority were not even allowed in the court yard where the mock trial was held. All the apostles were jews. Jesus was a Jew. All the books in the bible were Jews. The Romans killed Christ, who became the Catholic Church of Rome. Stop blameing the Jews.

I don't know any Christians that hate Jews, if it weren't for
the Jew's we wouldn't have Jesus, and if it weren't for the
Jews rejecting Jesus as the Messiah we would not have
the new covenant and forgiveness of our sins.

EDIT: It was not the Christians that put your people in ovens
it might interest you to know that there were almost as many
Christians (6 million) that were put in to death camps,
tortured and murdered just like the Jews during the Holocaust

It was the Jewish leaders that brought Christ before the courts. Not all Jews were for Christs death. Many didn't have an opinion one way or the other. But, that was so long ago, it doesn't really matter.

I don't hate Jews. I think they are good people, most live their religion and try to help others. I don't care what religion you are, it's how you treat me that matters. I know many Jews that are wonderful people. Yes, we don't agree on religion, but there's more to being a good person then what religion you believe in.

Sorry for the insult but that is an ignorant statement.Not only do most Christians not hate Jews but I grew up Catholic(am a Freethinker now) and we knew of our roots and connections to the Jews and we follow the Old Testament as well as the New...Old Testament is 100% Jewish! I even went to Cathoilc School and we celbrated the Jewish Passover Feast at a friends house to remind us Jesus was indeed a Jew and followed those teachings and way of life.

Look first off not all people that call themselves Christian are. Not all Christians hate the Jews in the slightest and I know they don't hold the Jews responsible for Jesus' death. In fact real Christians believe God is in control of everything and though Jews and Romans were involved in the events, it was all part of His redemptive plan for mankind to free us from the penalty of death for sin (the wages of sin is death...the soul that sinneth shall surely die). Real Christians don't hate Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, or anyone else I can think of either. They hate the sin, not the sinner. Real Christians know we all have been forgiven much and that God's ultimate plan is to bring all the Jews and Gentiles together to be reunited as family. BTW, not all the books of the Bible are written by Jews. I'm not sure who wrote Ruth, but she was not Jewish. What I do know is Luke was not Jewish and he wrote the book by his name and the book of Acts.

You have everything wrong. You are just taking someone like Hitler who claimed to be Christian, and assuming that every Christian is like that. I'm a Christian and I do not hate ANYONE.

As Christians, we believe that Christ was sent to earth TO DIE for us. We are not blaming the Jews for this because this was all a part of God's plan.

Do some research first. It's annoying how so many of these questions are asked without people having tried to understand more about Jesus first. -__-

Interesting that Jesus was killed by the high priest was only for political reasons? Care to tell me why the high priest would want to kill the Messiah? Why did the Jewish religious leaders have no problem conducting a trail in a manor that both broke Jewish law and condemned and innocent man to death?

The Talmud was written with these men as leaders. With so many of the men killed and so many women raped, I guess they also changed who became a Jew for political reasons. So now, it is the mother that determines if you are a Jew instead of the father as the Torah said.

So I guess the reason there is no Temple in Israel is also for political reasons. There are no religious reasons for having a Temple other than the covering of sin individually and as a nation.

Is there no God in Israel or is the God of Israel so weak that she needs to turn to political solutions instead of solutions requiring faith in God?

BTW. Being Jewish isn't about bloodlines, you know. I believe in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And I don't hate the Jewish people. But do you hate me for these questions which ask you to believe too?

Throughout history the Jews have been hated (and massacred - massacres were called pogroms) by Xians because they believed the Jews killed Jesus.
Of course most xians were (are) too dense to see Jesus was no more than a Jew being tried by Jews. Jesus was never a xian cos xian means follower of Jesus. People don't follow themselves unless they're mega-vain.
Actually xians should really be Paulians cos it was Paul who sold the product - Jesus never recorded a single word ... not even an 'x'.

Why such a generalized, and incorrect stereotype?
All the Christians I know love the Jews !
If it weren't for the Jews, we would have no Messiah.
The Jews that wanted Jesus dead were disappointed in Him politically, but it was primarily for religious reasons that they conspired against Him.
The Jews conspired against Him;
The Romans crucified Him;
But Jesus GAVE His life willingly.

No one killed Jesus. He gave His life like it was told in the Scripture to fulfill the Bible prophecy.

I do not hate Jews. I do not know any Christians who hate Jews.

I don't understand where you think Christians hate Jews! The Bible tells us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Obviously if peace comes to Jerusalem it will also come to the Jews!

You're mixed up - probably a kickback from the movie "The Passion of the Christ" which was a vivid portrayal of the hate the Pharisees, Saducees and Lawyers had for Christ. They were rebuked by Christ for their religious life and how they did
all they could to look holy on the outside but were wicked on the inside. It was not the entire Jewish community that pushed for His death, but the religious leaders who hated Him
and refused to believe who He was and why He came.
