I think this is a tough call. I am attracted to Episcopalianism but I've stayed away do to its more liberal end. On the one hand, holding together is what we are called to do as Christians. Yet, I question any denomination that would allow a man like Bishop John Shelby Spong in Newark, NJ to wear the collar. He rejects every tenet of the Christian faith and belief in God as well, encouraging others to do the same. Maybe it would be good for orthodox believers to cut their losses and move on. Liberalism of Spongian stripe is declining in numbers at exponential rates. I see it as dead weight.
